The small village of Halenbach is located in the western Eifel, in the beautiful Islek region. This vacation destination is characterized by ridges reaching up to 570 m, offering diverse views and deeply carved river valleys where beavers have now made their home again.

With a total of 13 bike trails spanning 986 km, our beautiful region is perfect for exploring. A true paradise for cyclists and hikers. Even in winter, the Southern Eifel offers wonderful hiking trails to enjoy the snow-covered landscape. Start right from our lodging. The surrounding hills are perfect for sledding. The “Schwarzer Mann” and “Wolfsschlucht” ski areas are only about 20 km away.

Our traditional farmhouse spans two floors (95 m²) and has been lovingly restored. It was important to us to preserve the house’s original character and charm. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the wonderfully fresh Eifel air on your private terrace—and who knows…maybe you’ll get lucky and spot some local wildlife roaming freely.
